Our Guest Speaker Meeting will be held this Friday 16th March at 11.15am until 12.45pm at the Community Centre, Pudong. Please feel free to bring “brown bag lunch” if required.
We have Dr Susan Cadzow, Pediatrician and Dr Steve Xu, Clinical Psychiatrist and Chair of Mental Health from Shanghai United Family Hospital. They will be speaking on the “Medical Model of Diagnosis”. In other words, addressing how a medical doctor walks a family through the process of diagnosis of autism, ADHD and/or other learning base issues,by ruling out physical causes of symptoms and directing parents to appropriate professionals.The Speaker’s Meeting is free to all SCF members & there will be a 50 RMB fee for non-members.
